This weird and wonderful collection of curiosities is the result of 95 students (aged 14 to 15) from both Parliament Hill and William Ellis schools. They have been working with artists Alison Lam and Vicky Hussain to create 180 ceramic and 50 bronze hand-sized pieces inspired by the collections of plants and artefacts of James Yates, a Victorian resident of Lauderdale House, and the natural environment of Waterlow Park. The works will be displayed around the Courtyard Gallery, Tea Lawn and Lower Terrace.
Each student has created multiple artworks in ceramic, bronze and print which will be displayed both within Lauderdale House (in the courtyard and entrance hall) and in Waterlow Park (in the knot garden and by the sundial on the tea lawn.)
