Queens-wood-cafe-1-min

Discover Haringey’s Hidden River Moselle. Your guide Jen Pedler has lived locally for many years and has long been fascinated by this river. She has previously led this walk with groups on several occasions. The Moselle is Haringey’s hidden river, running across the width of the borough from its source in Queen’s Wood, Highgate, to its confluence with the River Lea near Tottenham Hale. On this walk we will follow its course from Queen’s Wood to Bruce Castle in Tottenham where the walk ends; about two-thirds of the complete course of the river. We break for an hour for lunch in Lordship Rec. After lunch we will continue following the course of the river to Bruce Castle. We should arrive there by about 3.00pm which will then give you the opportunity to visit the Grade 1 listed manor house.
