Densely planted garden hidden behind 18th century house (not open) with unusual plants, ponds, a waterfall, frogs, toads and newts. Many topiary shapes formed from self sown yew trees. Sculpture carved from three trunks of a massive conifer which became unstable in a storm. Hard-working greenhouse! No need to book; just turn up.
Cost: By donation. All donations go to the National Garden Scheme.
