HIGHGATE FESTIVAL 2026
WHAT’S ON DURING THE FESTIVAL
- This year’s festival highlights:
- A celebration of the music and life of George Michael, ten years after his death, with a Community Sing-a-long in Pond Square on Saturday 20th at 6pm.
- Special screening of activist documentary, Power Station, a Highgate Newtown Community Centre Open Day and events commemorating The Lost Girls of Highgate Cemetery and the Highgate plague pit.
- As part of the music programme, Bafta-winning local composer Vince Pope is holding a Listening Party at L’Acoustic’s Studio on Southwood Lane.
- The Red Hedgehog has its usual world-renowned line-up of musicians as well as an open call for locals to perform in the Anything Goes Community Cabaret.
- The Boogaloo presents Spraytan, The Neckbreakers and Tempomental.
We also have: yoga, jazz, Highgate on Film, Coleridge and Karl Marx, Pond Square music on Sundays at 5pm, Harry Meacher, art exhibitions, Will Hutton, Nell Frizzell, Klezmer, Take Twenty Choir, our village brocante and walks about Highgate’s Jewish History and the geology of Waterlow Park.
